Carpet Beetles

As spring approaches carpet beetles can start to appear within your house or business The adult carpet beetle is small, oval-shaped, and has a mottled pattern of black, white, and orange scales on its back. The larvae ( also known as woolly bears) are elongated, brown, and covered in bristle-like hairs which can cause skin irritation if their hairs become embedded within the skin. The larvae feed on natural fibres such as wool, fur and feathers causing damage to carpets and clothing.
